One of the best parts of affiliate marketing is money you can make. But can a non-profit use affiliate marketing for fundraising? The answer is a resounding YES and I share how in this episode.
Debbie Kay from Hope for the Broken Hearted recently asked me:
Your question is one I have been thinking about and praying about for awhile. There are so many different aspects of my ministry and so many different audiences I reach… I think there are multiple possibilities for the affiliate stuff. You are absolutely right, it is a balancing act as far as I am concerned. I do not ever want to come across as one of those unethical ministries that is always seeking a way to part people from their money to line their pockets, if you know what I mean. Since my ministry went viral, I’ve been more like a social media missionary more than anything else…but, I am at the place I need to generate income while ministering. I think I can do that by offering things of legitimate value to those I minister to.
I’ve been fortunate to work with thousands of non-profits who use affiliate marketing to raise money for their organizations.
In this episode, I show how to do that and how product owners can work with non-profits as affiliates.
